Introduction of Antibody Platform

The antibody platform is a multi-purpose platform technology for the discovery and development of antibodies. KMD Bioscience’s platform generates antibodies via a fast and broadly applicable process that is easily performed at the discovery scale as well as the commercial manufacturing scale. We produced monoclonal antibodies using hybridoma technology and immunized experimental animals with antigens. Serum obtained from animals was analyzed to monitor antibody reactions and extract antibodies when sufficient quantities were produced, which are known as polyclonal antibodies. The antibody platform can be combined with the antibody discovery platform (also known as KMD Bioscience’s phage display technology platform) as well as with other antibody engineering technologies. Our antibody engineering technologies include antibody customization, antibody humanization, antibody affinity maturation, and bispecific antibody production. We are confident in providing you with a suitable solution to help customers develop antibodies.
