KMD Bioscience realizes large-scale (gram-scale) peptide production using solid-phase or liquid-phase synthesis. Solid-phase synthesis is shorter and less expensive for small to medium-scale peptide synthesis, but solid-phase peptide synthesis can also be used for large-scale synthesis of longer sequences and more complex side chain peptides. On the other hand, liquid-phase peptide synthesis is often used when larger quantities of peptide products need to be produced.
